Over 200 people are killed each year when backed over by motor vehicles. The 911 (except Manual/GT3) offers an optional Maneuvering Assist that uses rear sensors to monitor for objects to the rear and automatically applies the brakes to prevent a collision. The Revuelto doesn’t offer automatic braking for stationary objects directly to the rear.

A passive infrared night vision system optional on the 911 helps the driver to more easily detect people, animals or other objects in front of the vehicle at night. Using an infrared camera to detect heat, the system then displays the image on a monitor in the dashboard. The Revuelto doesn’t offer a night vision system.

The 911’s driver alert monitor detects an inattentive driver then sounds a warning and suggests a break. According to the NHTSA, drivers who fall asleep cause about 100,000 crashes and 1500 deaths a year. The Revuelto doesn’t offer a driver alert monitor.

Both the 911 and the Revuelto have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, front seatbelt pretensioners, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, daytime running lights, lane departure warning systems, rearview cameras, available crash mitigating brakes, blind spot warning systems, around view monitors and rear cross-path warning.

Warranty

The 911 comes with a full 4-year/50,000-mile basic warranty, which covers the entire car and includes 24-hour roadside assistance. The Revuelto’s 3-year basic warranty expires 1 year sooner.

There are almost 5 times as many Porsche dealers as there are Lamborghini dealers, which makes it much easier should you ever need service under the 911’s warranty.

Reliability

J.D. Power and Associates rated the 911 first among premium sporty cars in their 2025 Initial Quality Study. The Revuelto isn’t in the top three in its category.

Engine

As tested in Car and Driver the 911 Turbo S 3.6 turbo 6-cylinder hybrid is faster than the Lamborghini Revuelto (automatics tested):

The flat cylinder configuration of the boxer engine in the 911 lowers its center of gravity, enhancing handling stability. The Revuelto doesn’t offer a boxer engine configuration.

Environmental Friendliness

In its Green Vehicle Guide, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rates the Porsche 911 higher (4 to 5 out of 10) than the Lamborghini Revuelto (2). This means the 911 produces up to 20.8 pounds less smog-producing pollutants than the Revuelto every 15,000 miles.

Brakes and Stopping

For better stopping power the 911 CCB’s front brake rotors are larger than those on the Revuelto:

Suspension and Handling

The 911 (except Base/GT3) offers active sway bars, which help keep it flat and controlled during cornering, but disconnect at lower speeds to smooth the ride and offer greater off-road suspension articulation. This helps keep the tires glued to the road on-road and off. The Revuelto doesn’t offer an active sway bar system.

The 911 GT3 handles at 1.17 G’s, while the Revuelto pulls only 1.10 G’s of cornering force in a Car and Driver skidpad test.

For better maneuverability, the 911 GT3’s turning circle is 4.3 feet tighter than the Revuelto’s (34.1 feet vs. 38.4 feet). The 911’s turning circle is 1.7 feet tighter than the Revuelto’s (36.7 feet vs. 38.4 feet).

Chassis

The Porsche 911 may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs up to about 650 pounds less than the Lamborghini Revuelto.

The 911 is 1 foot, 4 inches shorter than the Revuelto, making the 911 easier to handle, maneuver and park in tight spaces.

The 911 is 6.1 inches narrower on average than the Revuelto, making the 911 easier to handle and maneuver in traffic.

For excellent aerodynamics, the 911 has standard flush composite headlights. The Revuelto has recessed headlights that spoil its aerodynamic shape and create extra drag.

The front grille of the 911 uses electronically controlled shutters to close off airflow and reduce drag when less engine cooling is needed. This helps improve highway fuel economy. The Revuelto doesn’t offer active grille shutters.

As tested by Car and Driver while at idle, the interior of the 911 Carrera GTS Coupe 4 is quieter than the Revuelto (54 vs. 56 dB).

Passenger Space

The 911 offers optional seating for 4 passengers; the Revuelto can only carry 2.

The 911 has 23 cubic feet more passenger volume than the Revuelto (73 vs. 50).

Cargo Capacity

The 911 Coupe has a larger trunk with its rear seat up than the Revuelto (4.8 vs. 4 cubic feet).

Ergonomics

When three different drivers share the 911, the optional memory system makes it convenient for all three. Each keyless remote activates different, customized memories for the driver’s seat position, steering wheel position, outside mirror angle and climate settings. The Revuelto doesn’t offer a memory system.

The 911’s standard Comfort Access allow you to unlock the doors from either outside door handle, open the trunk, and start the engine, all without removing the key from the pocket or purse. keyless entry system standard on the Revuelto doesn’t offer a sensor on the trunk.

To improve rear visibility by keeping the rear window clear, the 911 (except Cabriolet/GT3) offers an optional rear wiper. The Revuelto doesn’t offer a rear wiper.

The 911’s sun-visors swivel front-to-side to block glare from the side windows. The Revuelto’s visors are fixed into the windshield header.

When the 911 is put in reverse, the passenger rearview mirror tilts from its original position. This gives the driver a better view of the curb during parallel parking maneuvers. Shifting out of reverse puts the mirror into its original position. The Revuelto’s mirror doesn’t automatically adjust for backing.

Optional air-conditioned seats in the 911 keep the driver and front passenger comfortable and take the sting out of hot seats in Summer. The Revuelto doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats.

On extremely cold winter days, the 911’s standard heated steering wheel provides comfort, allowing the driver to steer safely and comfortably before the car heater warms up. The Revuelto doesn’t offer a heated steering wheel.

The Porsche 911 has a standard Homelink wireless remote control system for garage door operation and device management, conveniently located on the rear view mirror. Homelink® eliminates the need for separate garage door openers and associated risks of losing, breaking, or having dead batteries. Lamborghini charges extra for Homelink® on the Revuelto.

The 911 is equipped with both FM and AM stereo radios, offering access to more content and better coverage than the Revuelto, which solely provides FM radio. With AM radio, you can enjoy a wider variety of stations featuring news, talk shows, sports commentary, native language programing, automated traffic guidance, and emergency broadcasts. AM waves travel further and penetrate buildings and obstacles more effectively than FM signals, especially at night. Having both FM and AM stereo radios the 911 offers a more comprehensive listening experience compared to only FM in the Revuelto.

HD Radio boasts several benefits over conventional radio: superior sound quality with clearer and consistent FM broadcasts, CD-quality audio, and Multicast Channels offering up to four streams from a single station, adding programming choices. Cars like the 911 equipped with HD Radio provide an improved in-car entertainment experience. The Revuelto, devoid of this technology, foregoes these benefits. Selecting the Porsche 911 empowers drivers to enjoy a more immersive and enjoyable listening experience while on the go.

To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Porsche 911 has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the front center console. The Revuelto doesn’t offer wireless personal charging.

The 911 (except Manual/GT3)’s optional Active Parking Support can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. Optional Remote ParkAssist will park and retrieve your car remotely: press a button and watch it park itself. This is ideal for tight locations. The Revuelto doesn’t offer an automated parking system.

Model Availability

The Porsche 911 comes in coupe and convertible bodystyles; the Lamborghini Revuelto isn’t available as a convertible.

The 911 is available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. The Revuelto doesn’t offer a two-wheel drive configuration.
